Episode synopsis

In this episode the contestants must bring in the most amazing-sounding thing (until you see it), call someone they went to primary school with, deduce the flavours of some dips, wear the most outlandish costume under their outfit, reassemble a keyboard (and type a message to the Taskmaster), text a compliment to a fellow contestant, and text the Taskmaster first.

Title context

'Sweaty socks and depression' was how Angella Dravid described the flavour of one of the dips in the 'Deduce the flavours of the dips' task.

Alternate Titles

  • On Sweden's SVT Play streaming platform, this episode is titled 'Svettiga strumpor och depression', which translates as 'Sweaty socks and depression'. This is a direct translation of the original episode title, which was a quote from Angella Dravid. [Translator credit: DANI]

    Assistant Intro

And, to my left, my partner in crime, except I'm more his superior than a partner, and we don't do any crimes. It's Paul Anthony Alan Jones Williams.

    Taskmaster's Sign-off

It's been an enriching evening of tasks, hasn't it? We've learnt that the deepest, darkest secrets of a dip lie at the bottom of a dip bowl. We've learnt that none of Leigh Hart's school friends want to talk to him any more. And of course, we've learnt that our winner is the untouchable Angella Dravid!
