• Angella unpacks and dons a unicorn mask, which has been rolled up inside a bumbag she’s been wearing, and then rips off her dress to reveal the rest of her pink unicorn rug costume underneath. To complete the effect, she lies face-down on the stage. She earns joint first place. When Madeleine argues that Brynley has been the bravest one, for revealing her “true form”, Angella implies that she thinks she herself has been the bravest, since she’s wearing a very light pink costume while on her period. She claims that the unicorn’s detachable tail “doubles as a tampon”.
• Brynley undoes the tie around her dress, and whips it off to reveal her costume consisting of a flesh-coloured garment covering her torso, and a ragged-looking brown loincloth. She then whips off the wig she has been wearing, revealing that she is wearing a bald cap and fake ears underneath. She also pulls out a golden ring, and squats down to properly imitate the character Gollum from The Lord of the Rings. Paul points out that due to the tight turnaround between the studio filming of the two episodes that day, she’d had to wear the bald cap and wig throughout the previous episode, too. She earns joint first place.
• Guy unzips his tracksuit top and pulls down his tracksuit bottoms to reveal that he is wearing a ‘fish suit’, inspired by Lady Gaga’s meat dress at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. The suit consists of whole fish attached to a wetsuit. Some of their tails are taped down with packing tape, but that clearly isn’t what is holding them on. He earns joint first place.
• Leigh, looking somewhat sheepish about the amount of effort he’s put in, removes his black T-shirt and grey-brown trousers to reveal an almost identical set of garments underneath. He earns last place.
• Madeleine explains, as she is removing her outer clothing, that she is making a blatant play to appeal to the Taskmaster’s interests, and that procuring the costume was more outlandish than the costume itself. She then reveals that she is wearing a uniform belonging to the cricketer Jimmy Neesham. She earns fourth place.
