Quickly open a gift, then re-wrap it
- In this task, the contestants are first instructed to open a wrapped gift as quickly as possible.
- They are then instructed to rewrap the gift to its original condition.
- Sometimes, wrapping supplies are provided in a non-obvious location for them to use, and sometimes a roll of tape (or some form of alternative) is provided within the gift box itself.
Original version
In this version of the task, there is a roll of tape, a pair of scissors, and a roll of the original gift-wrapping paper attached to the side of the table facing the camera, where the contestants won't easily spot it.
Adaptations
In this version of the task, there are no hidden wrapping supplies to assist the contestants, but they are also not expressly forbidden from finding their own supplies. Also, there is an additional rule hidden on the back of the second task brief which means that any contestants who react negatively towards the task risk losing points.
