In this version of the task, there are no hidden wrapping supplies to assist the contestants, but they are also not expressly forbidden from finding their own supplies. Also, there is an additional rule hidden on the back of the second task brief which means that any contestants who react negatively towards the task risk losing points.

The first task brief is tucked under the ribbon of a wrapped present on the table in the lab. The second task brief is found inside the gift box. The briefs for the task are as follows:
Open this present as fast as possible.
Fastest time wins.
Your time starts now.
Wrap the present you opened back into its original condition.
The best attempt wins.
You have 7 minutes.
Your time starts now.
In small text on the back of the second task brief:
You lose a point every time you curse or make negative comments about the task.

- Also inside of the gift box, there is either a roll of tape (for everyone but Niko) or a squeezable bottle of honey (for Niko).
