The task brief is suspended from the ceiling of the lab on a length of gift-wrapping ribbon. The brief for the task is as follows:
Beautifully wrap up this present.
You must maintain eye contact with Mike at all times.
If you break eye contact with Mike at any time he will unwrap your present and you must start again.
The most beautifully wrapped present wins.
You have 10 minutes.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- On the table, there is a gift box, and a selection of gift-wrapping supplies, all in the same colour (a different colour for each contestant): wrapping paper, ribbon, a bow, and some tape.
- Inside the gift box, there is a literal red herring.
