Choose your own disadvantage
- In this task, the contestants must choose a disadvantage for themselves, either in the task at hand, or in the next task they are assigned.
- It may be a completely free choice, or a choice of one or more predefined disadvantages.
- In the case where they are selecting from a pre-existing list of disadvantages, their result in the actual task to be completed may benefit from them selecting more than one of the options, as a multiplier may be applied.
Adaptations

In this solo version of the hammock-loading task, the contestants must first choose at least one disadvantage for themselves, prior to starting. Each disadvantage chosen increases the number by which their final weight will be multiplied.
