In this version of the task, there are far fewer items on the bookcase to match, and some of them are hidden inside a cabinet at the bottom. Also, the contestants get to see inside the room before they make their choice of handicap, so could potentially infer what the objective might be.

Task brief

The task brief is in Pilvi’s possession in the foyer. The brief for the task is as follows:

Make the right bookcase identical to the left bookcase.

The most identical bookcases win.

You have 10 minutes.

Your time starts now.

Task notes

Before handing over the task brief, Pilvi tells the contestants to choose to either give up their ability to see, their ability to use their hands, or their ability to enter the living room.
If the contestants choose to give up their vision, they are provided with a blindfold.
The living room has two bookcases set up next to each other, one filled with items (including a white wicker storage cube, a flower pot, a box decorated with a floral motif, a fake potted plant, a drinking glass which is two-thirds full of water, an empty tin can, an egg-cup, a book, a single fake flower, a piece of red cloth, and a bunch of fake grapes), and one empty. Some of the items are stored out of view inside the cabinet at the bottom of the bookcase.
Outside on the porch, there is a table filled with all of the items needed to replicate the target bookcase, plus a small watering can for filling the drinking glass. The white wicker storage cube is placed on the floor underneath the table.
