Attempts
Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!
- Janne drills multiple holes into the coconut before smashing it with the hammer. With two time penalties, he completes the task in 4 minutes and 26 seconds.
- Jenni initially chooses to use the hammer, but is unable to break the coconut with it. She then picks up the arrow to try and make a hole in the coconut with it, but this also does not work. She instead uses the drill to make a small hole in the coconut, but decides that this probably doesn't count as 'breaking' the coconut. She tries to break open the coconut using the wrench, before reverting to using the drill to make the hole bigger. With multiple time penalties, she completes the task in 12 minutes and 29 seconds.
- Jukka initially chooses to use the pliers. In an attempt to open the coconut without incurring any time penalties, he then takes it outside and simply throws it at the wall to break it open. He is therefore disqualified for not using any of the supplied items.
- Paula smashes the coconut into pieces on the table using the hammer. With a single time penalty, she completes the task in 1 minute and 41 seconds.
- Roni initially chooses to use the bow and arrow, and tries to break open the coconut by shooting it, but both misses and loses the arrow. He then simply breaks open the coconut with the hammer. With a single time penalty, he completes the task in 9 minutes and 6 seconds.
