Attempts
Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!
- Aisling made a slingshot and put the coconut on a roller-skate. She flung the coconut 4.4 metres.
- Bob adapted a crutch to fling his coconut. He flung the coconut 16.2 metres.
- Mark used a hat to fling the coconut. Although he tried to justify that his hat was a machine and he had flung the coconut 18.9 metres, he was placed fourth.
- Nish created a bow for the coconut, pretending to be Robin Hood. He flung the coconut 5.3 metres.
- Sally created a trebuchet for the coconut. She flung the coconut 5.5 metres.
