Attempts

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!

  • Nikolaj transforms the coconut's stand into a catapult using tape, string, and a tennis racket. He flings his coconut 4.6m with this device, and earns second place.
  • Lina tries to argue that she is a machine, and simply throws the coconut herself, while wearing a glove. Lasse doesn't buy it, and disqualifies her attempt.
  • Julie also tries to argue that she is a machine, and simply throws the coconut. She argues that her 'machine' is better than Nikolaj's, but Lasse disqualifies her.
  • Reuben also attempts to argue that he is a machine, and simply throws the coconut. He is also disqualified from the task.
  • Christian builds a powerful slingshot using resistance bands and duct tape, attached to a solid fixture on the racing track adjacent to the Stormester house. Using the device, he is able to fling the coconut a staggering 44.8m across the racecourse, securing himself a convincing first place.
