Task brief

The task brief was attached very high up on the wall behind the contestants. The brief for the task is as follows:

Find all 10 ducks.

You must stay in the lab.

Fastest wins.

You have a maximum of 20 minutes.

Your time started when you entered the lab.

One duck was on a sticker underneath two other stickers on a puzzle box underneath the table (inside the box, if opened, was a small, red-tinted picture of Richard Herring with his Taskmaster trophy - i.e. a 'Red Herring').
One duck was on the bottom of one of the contestants' shoes.
One duck was in Alex's cup of tea.
One duck was the word 'canard' written on the wooden beams on the ceiling of the lab.
One duck was the sound of a duck recorded on a device hidden inside one of the fake chickens.
One duck was hidden inside a leg of the table.
One duck was printed in UV ink on the task brief, and could be revealed using a UV torch found in the room.
One duck lit up on the wall when the contestants turned off the main light.
One duck was hidden somewhere behind the plastic sheeting, near the light switch.
One duck was underneath a piece of the flooring, when peeled up.
An eleventh 'stray' duck was also present in the room, drawn on the wall in UV ink, left over from an unaired previous version of the same task, filmed for the second Champion of Champions special.

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!

Ardal found the puzzle box but not the duck under the sticker, before sliding behind the plastic in the lab and bringing in hens. He eventually found two ducks, the one in the table leg and the one in the hen, receiving 1 point.
Bridget found the duck on the puzzle box; the duck hidden inside the disguised box on wall; the canard on the ceiling; and the duck on the task with the ultraviolet torch. She found 4 ducks, receiving 3 points.
Chris found the duck on the puzzle box before finding the task above the doorway. He then found a picture of a Red Richard Herring in the puzzle box, before finding: the duck on his shoes; the duck in the cup of tea; the ultraviolet duck on the task; the duck inside the hen; the duck inside the disguised box on the wall; and the duck under the floor. He found 7 ducks, receiving 5 points.
Judi found the duck in the hen; the duck-shaped light; the duck in the cup of tea; the duck on the puzzle box; and a stray ultraviolet duck. She found 6 ducks, receiving 4 points.
Sophie found the the duck-shaped light; the duck inside the hen; the duck on the puzzle box; and the duck on the task with the ultraviolet torch. Despite climbing on Alex's shoulders to inspect the ceiling, she only found 4 ducks, receiving 3 points.
