Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Eva really struggles to come up with an idea, and ultimately ends up deciding to park her "dream of coming up with a good solution". This takes the form of Mark taking a Polaroid photo of her posing as if she has a good idea, and her then burning that photo in a firepit. Lasse appreciates the poetry behind her idea, but does not find it watchable, and awards her last place.
  • It's unclear how Martin's attempt relates to the task, since it consists of him simply roller-skating badly while serving Mark fruit and wine. He doesn't seem to be able to explain how it is a 'parking job' in the studio, but Lasse appears to find the video watchable anyway, since it shows someone doing something badly. Amazingly, Martin earns first place for his inexplicable effort.
  • Sebastian's video shows him and Mark riding the rocking zebras from the Stormester house into a zebra enclosure at the zoo, and parking them there. Lasse agrees that it is an exclusive parking space, but does not think the video is that watchable, and awards Sebastian fourth place.
  • Simon is first seen trying out a mobility scooter in the garage of the Stormester house, and then deciding that he wants to blow up two gas cannisters by hammering a screwdriver into them, or attacking them with an axe. At this point, one of the producers is seen stepping in to question how dangerous what he's planning is. It is unclear whether this intervention is staged or not, but Simon decides to pursue an alternate plan. He is then seen with a pillow strapped to his head, climbing onto the mobility scooter, which has skis strapped to the front, making it look a little like a forklift truck. He backs the scooter down the driveway, and then covers his eyes with his hand and drives it into a collection of items from the garage, ending up crashing into a mini football goal. In the studio, Lasse describes Simon's stunt as "Jackass for retirees", and awards it third place.
  • Julie's video shows her 'parking her feelings' for Mark as the climax of a subtle romantic narrative between the two that's been present throughout the season. The video includes supposed out-takes from other tasks that had been filmed, showing the chemistry between the two of them, and evidence of an off-camera affair. Julie then ends the romance with Mark, making him literally stand in the parking space in the lab as a metaphor for her 'parking' her feelings for him. It in unclear whether this was one of the first tasks filmed, and Julie then inserted evidence of the romance into some of the tasks that were filmed later, or whether the two were play-flirting throughout filming anyway, and so this just turned out to be a convenient solution for the task. Either way, Lasse awards her second place in the task.
