Task brief

The task brief is laid on the desk in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:

Do something in sync.

Most remarkable in sync action wins.

You have 10 minutes.

Your time starts when one of you looks at one of the others.

Task notes

  • Also on the desk, there are wooden artist’s mannequins, all making the same pose.
  • In a moment of serendipity for the editors, both Annika and Jonas happen to scratch their noses while reading the line “Do something in sync.” to their team-mates, creating a moment of synchronicity between the two separate teams.
  • The starting conditions for the task are taken from a different team task, namely the ‘Make yourself look like one person’ task from Taskmaster UK series 8. So, while the stated time limit in this version is much shorter than that of the original version from Taskmaster UK, the teams actually have the potential to plan and rehearse their synchronised actions for as long as they like, as long as they don’t look at one another.
  • Although translated in the fan-made English subtitles as ‘notable’, the Danish word used in the task brief is ‘bemærkelsesværdige’, which can also be translated as ‘remarkable’ (like in the original version of the task).
