Task notes
- Also on the table are: one giant bowl of risalamande (a festive rice porridge, within which one whole almond is traditionally hidden; the person who finds the almond wins a prize); four smaller bowls of the same; a long wooden spoon; and some scattered letters of the alphabet.
- Also in the room is a fully decorated Christmas tree, with a star on top, puzzle pieces scattered in its branches, and wrapped gifts below.
- There is also a large framed portrait of Lasse and Mark on an easel, in which Lasse is holding an exact duplicate of the star on top of the Christmas tree.
- On the front edge of the table, the words 'mandlen er på julestjernen' ['the almond is on the Christmas star'] can be seen.
- This same phrase is also spelled out by the letters on the table, the jigsaw in the tree, on the shaft of the wooden spoon (in 'Rovarspraket' ['robber language'] - a code language in which every consonant is doubled, and an 'O' is added in between the now-doubled consonants), in the bottom of the bowls, and on the back of the framed picture.
- The almond is, indeed, suspended within the hollow centre of the Christmas star, in plain sight.
