Task brief

The task brief is found laid on top of a box of pizza, on a plinth, on the dock. The brief for the task is as follows:

Deliver this pizza to Tom.

A doppelganger of Tom Cashman sitting at a table covered with a red and white gingham tablecloth. On the table is bunch of daffodils wrapped in paper and a red plate. The setting is the lawn next to the Taskmaster house pond.

Task notes

  • Three modes of transportation are provided for the contestants to use: an inflatable dinghy, a tricycle, and a remote-control car (a miniature replica of the Taskmaster ute).
  • The contestants are wearing both chest-mounted and helmet-mounted cameras, to capture PoV and facial footage.
  • Across the other side of the lake, there is a doppelganger of Tom Cashman, waiting at a dining table. When the contestants speak to him, all he can answer is "Buongiorno!".
  • The real Tom Cashman is waiting for his pizza in the study.
  • Although this task is similar to the 'Reach a destination using as few steps as possible' task, there are enough differences in the set-up that it is categorised as an original task on this site.
