The task brief is attached to the topmost mug in a pyramid of 30 mugs, stood on a plinth in the middle of the path through the wooded area. The brief for the task is as follows:
Get the mugs into the bath at the top of the path.
You may only take 75 steps.
You must be on the path the whole time.
Most unbroken mugs gotten into the bath wins.
You have 13 minutes.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- Leading up to the plinth, five other items have been laid on the path, labelled with numbers between ‘1’ and ‘5’, depending on how many steps away from the plinth they are: a roll of clear parcel tape (1); a bundle of rope (2); two rolls of bubble wrap (3); a long metal pole (4), which is probably the vertical support for the last item; and an unrollable exhibition display poster (5), featuring an ad for Tom Cashman’s ‘Mug Delivery Business’, to make use of which the contestants only need to ask politely.
- The bathtub is stood in the middle of the platform at the end of the path, as usual, approximately 75 average human steps away from the plinth.
