Task brief
The task brief is held by Olli, who is standing next to the fountain in the garden. The brief for the task is as follows:
Get as much water, in as few steps as possible, from here to the blue barrel in the outhouse.
You must count each step you take out loud.
If you lose count, you must pour out your water.
Most water in the least steps wins.
You have 12 minutes.
Your time starts now.
PS: You cannot move the barrel from the toilet.
Task notes
- Olli is also holding a garden hose, which he hands over the contestants to hold when they arrive. The hose nozzle is set to its widest spray pattern, and the water supply is turned on the moment that the contestants read the line ‘Your time starts now’, so that they potential spray themselves with water. At this point, Olli has produced an umbrella from somewhere, so he can protect himself from their spray.
- Set on top of the toilet bench in the outhouse, which is at the other end of the garden, next to the caravan, there is a large blue barrel for the contestants to add their transported water to.
- In the studio, Olli clarifies that the amount of water added to the barrel by each contestant is divided by the total number of steps they took during the task, giving the final result by which their attempts are judged.
