Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Mae comes up with the idea that Jenny should fight off both Kiell and themself. The team's fight starts with Mae and Kiell sneaking up on Jenny, who is apparently asleep in the shed. However, as they reach the doors, she pushes them open, knocking both of her would-be assailants spinning away into the garden. Kiell then attempts to punch Jenny, but is blocked and then punched in the gut, and goes flying away again. Meanwhile, Mae has been forward-rolling towards the shed, and attempts to kick Jenny, but is also blocked and pushed far away. The following coordinated attack by Mae and Kiell is seen off by Jenny with a cricket bat to both of their heads, sending them spinning off dramatically once again. The pair then both pick up lengths of drainpipe and come at Jenny together, but somehow Mae's thinner pipe just ends up being inserted into Kiell's wider one, and then Jenny smacks their conjoined piped down to the ground with her cricket bat. As the pair get pulled down, their heads bang together. While they are reeling from this. Jenny grabs two hula hoops and uses them to catch both attackers, pulling them towards one another so that they again bang their heads together. After the pair collapse on the ground, back-to-back, Jenny proceeds to tie them up with some rope, and then bashes them over the heads with a parasol. The fight ends with Jenny twirling the parasol around behind her at high speed, while laughing maniacally, and Kiell stating that he "had plans for this evening". In the studio, after Greg indicates he'd like to drill down into their narrative, Jenny reveals that she was the "baddy" in the story (or, as Mae suggests, a "super-villain"). Mae then points out that Jenny had "humliated" both of her attackers. Greg awards the team second place, and four points each.
  • At the start of their attempt, Ivo confesses to being both weak and cowardly, and so offers to play the role of "victim". Frankie suggests that their fight should start with hand-to-hand combat, and then escalate to weaponry. Their fight begins with Frankie, playing a bailliff (wearing a top hat and carrying a cane), knocking on the door to Ivo's caravan, and presenting him with an eviction notice (in the form of a task brief). After Ivo (wearing an apron and washing up gloves) refuses to be evicted, and throws the notice away, the two begin to fight - Ivo armed only with his washing up brush. Frankie begins to dominate the fight, and gets Ivo down on the ground, at which point Ivo blocks a punch from Frankie with a dustbin lid, and then blows a whistle, summoning a small army of clones to his defence. Four people wearing Ivo masks and wearing overalls pop up from behind a hedge, armed with a tennis racket, a skateboard, a croquet mallet, and a paddle. Ivo directs them to attack Frankie, and they quickly pin him down on the ground and set about him with their various weapons. The original Ivo fetches a chair from the caravan, and it looks as if he's about to smash it over Frankie, but he instead places it down on the ground and then sits on it with a book and a cup of tea while his clones finish Frankie off. In the studio, Frankie reveals that two of the people playing Ivo's clones were Frankie's actual children. Greg gives Frankie and Ivo the win, and five points, for having the slightly more enthralling fight.
