Task brief

The task brief is received by the flagpole in the garden of the Bäst i Test house, where a square area has been sectioned off with striped tape. The brief for the task is as follows:

Bribe the officer into doing something he doesn’t want to do.

The one who gets the officer to do what he'd rather not do wins.

You have 15 minutes.

Your time starts now.

Task notes

  • Inside of the square, David awaits, dressed as a police officer.
  • As this was always intended to be a bonus task, Babben does not award any points.

Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Images will be added later.

  • Henrik asks if he can try on the officer’s hat, and David agrees to let him do so. Henrik then follows this up with an offer for David to suck his finger, which David declines. Henrik then asks if he can instead suck David’s finger, to see what it’s like. After Henrik awkwardly sucks on David’s index finger, David suggests that perhaps Henrik should read the task brief again. Henrik spends the remainder of his time dancing outside of the square with David. In the studio, Henrik admits that he was confused by the task, and still didn’t quite understand what he was meant to do. As this was a non-competition bonus task, Babben does not award any points.
  • Nikki asks David what he does not like doing, and David replies that he does not like spinning or rotating. He also admits that he does not like getting humiliated, or “gross things”. Nikki runs into the house and comes out with a tray of roll cakes – in fact, the exact same cakes used in the ‘Identify the roll cake flavours’ task – and tells David that she'll give him 500 krona (c£40) to eat them. She then amends this proposal to include a separate option: either David gets the money, or Nikki will also eat one of the roll cakes. Nikki is the first of the two to eat a cake, and appears to eat the third one, which she never actually tried during the flavour identification task. At first, it seems that David will not hold up his end of the bargain, but he eventually does eat one of the cakes. As this was a non-competition bonus task, Babben does not award any points.
  • Linnéa asks David what he does not like doing, and David replies that he does not like spinning or rotating. He also admits that he does not like “gross things”, or being humiliated. Linnéa counters his last dislike, rhetorically asking if that’s not what David’s entire career has been about. She then retrieves a staple gun from the shed, and makes a deal with David: if he allows her to staple the task brief onto his body, not only will he be allowed to do the same to her, but she will also eat a raw egg. David staples the task brief onto Linnéa’s thigh, after which she drinks a raw egg. In return, Linnéa then staples the task brief to David’s right buttock. As this was a non-competition bonus task, Babben does not award any points.
  • Marko’s footage starts with Marko asking David what kind of things he likes (the way the question is phrased, it’s likely Marko first asked David what he dislikes). David replies that he likes cash, but also admits to enjoying watching people struggle. Marko proposes a deal to David: Marko will drink vinegar (with which he has a hard time –see his performance in the ‘Drink all the vinegar’ task), if David agrees to be rotated. Marko then leads David to a nearby hill and gaffer-tapes him into a rug. He then pushes David down the hill, although David stops rolling about halfway down. In return, Marko also rolls down the hill while wrapped in a rug, but he also does a shot of vinegar first (leading to a good deal of retching). As this was a non-competition bonus task, Babben does not award any points.
  • Marcus asks what David does not like, and David replies that he does not like eating gross things or bathing. In a questionable leap of logic, Marcus then offers a deal to David: if David allows Marcus to cover him in gravel in a bathtub, while Marcus watches creepily from behind the flagpole, Marcus will in turn go for a swim while holding something disgusting in his mouth. After David ‘bathes’ in gravel, Marcus runs down to the dock, strips, and jumps into the water. David shoves a handful of weeds into Marcus’ mouth, and Marcus then swims backstroke for the remainder of his time. As this was a non-competition bonus task, Babben does not award any points.
