Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Say the same word at the same time.

Alex will give you a category.

Taking it in turns, team members must both say one word that fits the category at the same time.

If both team members say the same word at the same time, they win the round.

Also you must not say a word that has been said before.

Most in-sync team wins.

Task notes

The contestants are all seated on the stage. Two members of each team are sat next to one another, but with their chairs angled slightly away from each another so that they can’t directly look at one another. The third member of the team of three is seated on a separate chair to the site of the stage, and the team member sat on this seat rotates with each new round of the game.
Alex clarifies after the task brief has been read that the contestants must not communicate with one another.
The game is played over five rounds, with the winner of the most rounds being named the winners.
The categories assigned by Alex for each round of the game are: fruits, farmyard animals, European countries, parts of the body, and boring boys’ names.
