This version of the task was used as a regular filmed task, and includes a rule stating that if the contestants are caught cheating by Mark, they will be disqualified. This opens up the possibility that it’s fine to cheat in the task, as long as they avoid getting caught.

The task brief is laid on the desk in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:
Recite pi to as many decimal places as possible for Mark, without aids.
If Mark catches you cheating, you will be disqualified.
You must start in 10 minutes.
You have one attempt.
Your time starts now.
