In this version of the task, the contestants must attempt to squeeze a rubber chicken when 30 seconds have passed, and then ring a bell when 60 seconds have passed. The contestants are not divided by screens, since both actions result in noises being made.
Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Squeeze the chicken when exactly 30 seconds have passed.
After this, ring the bell when the minute is up.
The best attempt wins.
Your time starts at the Taskmaster’s signal.
Task notes
- The contestants are seated side-by-side on stage, each with a rubber chicken at their feet.
- A couple of metres in front of each of them, there is a small table with a service bell upon it.
- During the task, Jaakko keeps up a monologue, during which he makes sure to mention many numbers, in an attempt to throw off the contestants’ internal time-keeping.
