Task brief

The task brief is laid on a plinth near the pool, in the garden. The brief for the task is as follows:

Paint the target with your paint.

You must only step on the red markers, and you must step on all the red markers.

Also, your hands must be below your waist at all times.

Fastest wins.

Your time starts now.

Task notes

  • Between the starting point of the task and a cordoned-off area of lawn at the other end of the garden, a path has been defined using circular red markers.
  • Within the cordoned-off area, there is a circular target on the ground.
  • Along the way, the markers lead the contestants directly through a string of bunting that needs to be stepped over, and a string of bunting that needs to be ducked under. The colours of the bunting match the contestant’s paint.
  • Near the end of the path, there are enough markers missing that the contestants are forced to repurpose old markers to continue their journey.
  • There are two additional markers in the shed, which the contestants are very likely to miss. Markl will alert the contestants to the existence of these markers, but only once they have already made their way inside of the cordoned-off area containing the target.
