The initial task brief is in Pilvi’s possession, on the balcony. The second task brief is held down by a service bell on a plinth in the woods. The briefs for the task are as follows:

Task notes
- When the contestants arrive to greet Pilvi on the balcony, she is using a pair of binoculars to look at a service bell on a plinth in the woods, about midway between the house and the lake.
- If and when the contestants reach the service bell, Pilvi puts on a pair of noise-cancelling headphones.
- The service bell is firmly stuck to the plinth, so cannot be easily moved to Pilvi.
- The word ‘Soittaa’ used in the task brief means ‘to ring’ or ‘to play’ (i.e. music). The word ‘Kello’ can refer to a bell or a clock/timer. These alternate meanings figure into at least one contestant’s attempt.
