Task briefs
The first task brief is presented on an easel standing on a turntable on the driveway. The second task brief is presented to one of the contestants by Alex. The briefs for the task are as follows:
Each person must write down three words to describe a memorable scene.
You must be silent throughout.
And your team-mate must not see what you have written.
You have one minute.
Your time starts now.
Paint your memorable scene so that your team-mate can guess your three words.
You must not give any clues about your own three-word scene except by painting the scene.
You must not write any words.
Fastest wins.
Your time starts when the turntable turns.

Task notes
- There is an easel with a blank canvas, a sheet of card, a marker pen, and a range of paintbrushes on the turntable for each contestant in the team.
- Each contestant is also provided with paints and an artists’ palette on a plinth, next to the circular red Taskmaster-branded marker spot on which they stand during the task.
- After the contestants have written down their three words on the piece of card, Alex collects the sheets from them.
- Once the task begins, the turntable is switched on.
