Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Say the same word as your team-mate, at the same time.

Each round, the Taskmaster will give you a category.

At Mark’s signal, each team must say a word within the category, at the same time.

If both team-mates say the same word, the team gets 1 point.

No word may be repeated more than once.

The most synchronous team wins.

Task notes

The contestants are grouped into two teams on stage. Two members of each team are sat next to one another, but with their chairs angled slightly away from each another so that they can’t directly look at one another. The third member of the team of three is stood on a marker spot at the edge of the stage, and the team member stood there rotates with each new round of the game.
The game is played over five rounds, with the winner of the most rounds being named the winners.
In each round, each team gets five chances to say the same word and earn a point.
The points earned are actual episode points, not just in-game points.
The categories assigned for each round of the game are: fruits, tools, farm animals, European countries, and boring Danish boys’ names.
