In this version of the task, most of the mini-tasks to be completed are different than those used in the original version.

Task briefs
The main task brief is laid on the table in the lab. Four unsealed mini-task briefs are also laid on the table, behind each of the related props (from the contestants’ point of view). The briefs for the task are as follows:
Perform the tasks as quickly as possible.
Each task must be completed faster than the last task.
If you exceed the time from the previous task, you must start over.
Your time starts now.
Get the ring through the course without touching the wire.
Build a house out of crispbread.
The house must be taller than Mark’s left foot.
Solve a maths problem without using a calculator.
Roll two sixes in a row.
Task notes
- Also on the table, there are an electric maze puzzle (which emits an irritating crashing sound effect whenever the ring touches the wire), two stacks of crispbread, a stack of flashcards featuring very simple sums, and two large wooden dice.
