Task brief

The task brief is laid on a circular red Taskmaster-branded marker spot on a plinth, on a pathway beneath the Corkscrew Rollercoaster at the Rainbow’s End theme park. The brief for the task is as follows:

Drop an egg from the rollercoaster and hit the bullseye.

You have one ride of the rollercoaster and one egg.

Paul can ride on the rollercoaster in your stead. He will release the egg when you command him.

You must break up with the egg before it is released.

A bonus point will be given for the most dramatic break-up.

Closest to the bullseye wins.

Task notes

On top of the task brief, there is a raw egg in an eggcup.
The plinth is stood in the middle of a large circular target marked out on the pathway in concentric rings of blue and white chalk.
The plinth is removed from the target after the task brief has been read, and the marker spot is placed on the ground in the centre of the target, becoming the bullseye.
If the contestants choose for Paul to ride the rollercoaster in their place, they communicate with him using a walkie-talkie.
This task is very similar in nature to the ‘Drop an egg on Olli's head’ task, but is distinct enough to be categorised here as original.
