We’re going to play balloon roulette.

There are four balloons, but five of you.

When I press ‘start’, the machine will release the balloons, and you must try to catch one.

If you don’t have a balloon, you are eliminated and must sit on the bench.

We’ll then reload the machine and play another round with one less balloon, and one less contestant.

Last player standing wins.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side behind a line drawn along the back of the stage.
In front of them, there is a table covered with a white tablecloth, beneath which there are two people wearing white gloves and holding an inflated balloon in each hand.
A red box frame is positioned in the middle of the table, concealing the fact that a hole has been cut into the surface, allowing the people beneath to reach through.
The balloons released by the ‘machine’ are of a variety of shapes and sizes.
