Build a structure for the potato
- In this task the contestants are instructed to build a structure to support a potato (e.g. a bridge or tower) on a scale model of a (usually pastoral) scene, using just the items on the table. The items on the table are typically very poor supplies for bridge-building, but there are more suitable supplies hidden on the underside of the table, with subtle clues to this fact hidden in the room.
Adaptations
In this version of the task, the contestants are asked to build a tower, rather than a bridge, but the other elements of the task are the same.
