Score a goal from the greatest distance
- In this task the contestants are instructed to score a goal (often on a football pitch, but it has also been adapted for an ice hockey rink, and just throwing a frisbee into a caravan) from the greatest distance.
- The contestants are also instructed to either perform an elaborate goal celebration, whether or not they successfully score the goal, or to celebrate their misses and commiserate their successful shots.
- They may have just one attempt, or be given unlimited attempts.
- In some versions, the Taskmaster's assistant actively participates as a goalkeeper.
Adaptations
In this version of the task the contestants are not limited to a single attempt, and do not have to celebrate regardless of whether they score or not.
In this version of the task, set on an ice hockey rink, the contestants must score a goal against David, who is actively defending the goal. The contestants are not limited to a single attempt, but must come up with a new goal celebration after every attempt.
In this version of the task, the contestants must throw a frisbee into the caravan from the greatest distance. They must also celebrate every missed throw, and commiserate their successful one. Only their first successful throw counts. Also, the contestant who celebrates and commiserates least effectively has their successful distance halved.
