In this version of the task, set on an ice hockey rink, the contestants must score a goal against David, who is actively defending the goal. The contestants are not limited to a single attempt, but must come up with a new goal celebration after every attempt.

Task brief

The task brief is attached to an ice hockey goalie’s mask, worn by David, at an ice hockey rink. The brief for the task is as follows:

Score a goal against David from the furthest distance.

Furthest distance wins.

You must perform a spectacular goal celebration after each attempt, regardless of whether you’ve successfully scored or not.

You must perform a new goal celebration after each attempt.

There may be a bonus point for the most spectacular goal celebration.

If you fail, you’re disqualified.

You have 10 minutes.

Task notes

The contestants are provided with an ice hockey puck and an ice hockey stick.
David is fully kitted out as an ice hockey goalie, and is actively defending the goal, although he is seated in a chair in the middle of it, and does not move with it, if the contestants move the goalposts.
