Get the duck into the receptacle
- In this task, the contestants must get a rubber duck into a receptacle (e.g. a pond, or paddling pool, or bucket) from behind a rope.

In this version of the task, the contestants must get the duck into a small square pond, dug into the lawn of the Taskmaster house, remaining behind the rope while the duck travels.
Adaptations
In this version of the task, the contestants must get the duck into a paddling pool, rather than a pond. There is also no rule forcing the contestants to remain behind the rope while the duck travels (it merely has to be ‘launched’ from behind the rope), but there is a rule forbidding Pilvi from touching the duck.
In this version of the task, the contestants must get their duck to travel as far as possible along some provided lengths of guttering and into a bucket, rather than trying to get it to travel a fixed distance as quickly as possible. Also, they must duck and shout ‘Duck!’ before their attempt in order for it to count.
