Task notes

  • It was revealed during an interview with Alex Horne on Ed Gamble’s Radio-X show that there was an unaired task in which the contestants had to reseal the task brief.
  • Alex revealed that: Ed made a seal using caramel; Katy Wix made a new wax seal using birthday candles; Jo Brand sealed the task brief with a fried egg; Rose Matafeo enclosed the task brief inside of a banana skin; and David Baddiel folded the task to resemble a seal (the animal), and then put it in a bath and told Alex to hit it with a cricket bat.
  • In episode 67 of the Taskmaster podcast Ed Gamble and Alex Horne briefly discussed this task, focusing on how Ed had made such a mess while making his caramel seal.
