The task brief is received in the garden of the Taskmaster house, where David sits next to a tea cart loaded with afternoon tea items, next to a plinth upon which a kettle (which looks like a teapot) rests. The brief for the task is as follows:
Invite David to tea.
You may not use tea as tea.
You may also not say any words starting with the letter ‘T’.
If you do, you will lose points.
You may not enter the house.
You have 10 minutes.
The most tasty tea wins.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- When it comes time to judge the contestants’ attempts, it is decided that the points will be awarded based on how few times each of them used words beginning with ‘T’, with the quality of their tea actually not factoring.
