Attempts
Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!
- Janne attempts to eat the lolly one bite at a time, but gets brain freeze with each bite. He also presses the lolly against the table with his hands, in an attempt to melt it, before putting it in a microwave, and drinking the resulting liquid. He completes his attempt in 2 minutes and 45 seconds.
- Jenni attempts to eat the lolly one bite at a time, but gets brain freeze with each bite. After spending most of her time on this strategy, she dips the lolly in coffee to melt it, and then drinks the resulting liquid. She completes her attempt in 2 minutes and 31 seconds. Upon further review of the footage of her attempt, though, it is discovered that she had accidently poured some of her lolly down the sink drain. As a result, she is disqualified.
- Jorma attempts to eat the lolly one small bite at a time. He also smashes the lolly with his hands to turn it into small ice chips, which are much easier to consume. His attempt is completed in 2 minutes and 8 seconds.
- Jukka tries to speed-eat the lolly, and he gets brain freeze as a result. He completes his attempt in 2 minutes and 15 seconds. Upon further review of the footage of Jukka's attempt, though, it is discovered that he had left small pieces of lolly on the floor. He is disqualified as a result.
- Roni admits that he has a phobia of polystyrene, so opening the container holding the lolly was itself very difficult for him. After opening the container, he attempts to eat the lolly all at once, but gets brain freeze. He quickly realises that moving around a lot helps to prevent the brain freeze, though. His attempt takes 3 minutes and 12 seconds.
