Task brief
The task brief is laid on top of a plain sponge cake, on a silver plate mounted to a plank, which is mounted on an actively rotating turntable in the garden. The brief for the task is as follows:
Decorate the cake.
The most impressive cake wins.
You have 50 rotations.
The task starts in 10 minutes.
Task notes
- On top of a small nearby wheeled cart, there are bowls containing various cake decorations, including birthday candles and tubes of coloured icing, Non-Stop candy-coated chocolates, hundreds and thousands, gummy sweets, powdered and granulated sugar, and fresh strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
- On the lower shelf of the cart, there is a bowl containing larger pieces of fresh fruit (including an apple, a banana, and a lemon), a bowl of whipped cream, and a plate with several additional thin tiers of plain sponge cake.
- A spoon and knife are also provided.
