The task brief was emailed to the contestants on the 4th of January 2010. The brief for the task is as follows:
Sports Relief:
If you too would like to challenge me at a sport - any sport (except long distance running and deep sea diving), name the place, the date, how many points you'd like to barter for (10 maximum), and I'll do my best to accomodate you.
Task notes
- This was an optional task through which Alex offered the contestants the opportunity to gamble some of their points on beating him in a sport of their choice.
- Henning Wehn had challenged Alex to a game of golf in December 2009, and staked four of his points on the outcome.
- Other contestants challenged Alex to games of darts, table tennis, air hockey, and unihockey (hockey on unicycles).
