Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Inês brings in a keychain torch. She says that she has a large purse, and the torch is helpful when she needs to dig through the purse to find whatever she’s looking for. A few of the contestants joke that Inês' torch looks more like a small vibrator. Vasco awards her last place.
  • Gilmário brings in a plastic sausage that can speak. He says he thinks that it’s meant to be a child’s toy, but that the things it says are very much meant for adults. The sausage is brought out for Vasco, who plays with the sausage for a bit. The sausage says things in a goofy voice like “You are a sausage maker!”, but it is undeniably large and phallic, and it needs to be pumped to get it to speak. The sausage is an unexpected hit with the panel, and Gilmário keeps it on stage with him for the rest of the episode. Vasco awards him first place.
  • Jessica brings in a toy aeroplane. She says she bought it for her son at a Chinese imports store, but when she brought it home, she realised it was battery-operated, and that it made loud, annoying aeroplane noises. She then says that she thought her story about the toy plane was funny before she started telling it in the studio, and has only just realised that it isn’t funny at all. Vasco awards her fourth place.
  • Toy brings in an electric massager. He justifies it by saying that people his age need massagers for lumbar support. Of course, many people use such massagers for less innocent purposes, and Toy was very likely aware of what people would think of his prize (only heightened because of Inês' prize). Vasco awards him third place.
  • After beginning his prize task with a speech about how he is taking such a cerebral show as Taskmaster seriously, Pedro says that his prize is something expensive but useful, as they are communication devices. Pedro brings in a set of walkie-talkies – which are clearly meant for a very young girl, as they are purple and pink with princesses on them. Vasco awards him second place.
