Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Henriette enthusiastically goes in for her hug, which she says she really needs. She has a fit of giggles after a while, and eventually ends her hug after an incredible 6 minutes and 53 seconds. She therefore earns zero points.
  • Live correctly predicts that Henriette will give the longest hug. She has a fit of the giggles as she prepares to begin her own hug, saying that it feels like they're about to kiss. She keeps her hug short, stopping after just 8.3 seconds, and earns second place.
  • Kristoffer correctly predicts that Espen will give the shortest hug. He has trouble both starting and ending his own hug, but doesn't seem to mind the actual hug itself so much, as he doesn't have to look at Olli. He ends his hug after 1 minute and 10 seconds, making it the third longest, and securing him first place.
  • Martha gives Olli a long, tight hug, lasting 2 minutes and 45 seconds, earning third place.
  • Espen skips into the location, gives Olli the most cursory hug possible, and then skips away again. Olli shares that Espen's hug was just 1.62 seconds long. He therefore earns zero points.

Notes on task scores

  • Although the display showing the scores awarded to each contestant at the end of this task match what Atle decided, when the running totals are then shown, it appears that Kristoffer's and Live's points for the task may have been transposed.
  • As a result, Kristoffer is shown to be on 9 points, when he was actually on 8, and Live is shown to be on 7 points, when she was actually also on 8.
  • This discrepancy has been corrected, by the time of the next scoreboard update, though.
