The brief for the task is as follows:
Throw one of your objects over the caravan, then completely cover one of your items with one of your other items.
Then put the covered item on the wooden barrel without touching that item with your hands.
Fastest wins.

Task notes
- The task takes place outside the front door of the Taskmaster house, where the three items chosen by each contestant on their first day of filming are laid upon the tops of three separate oil drums.
- A wooden barrel is positioned a short distance away, on the lawn.
- On episode 100 of the Taskmaster Podcast, John Kearns revealed that he later found out that, had he rubbed his magic lamp, an individual dressed as a genie would have emerged from the garage to provide assistance to him during the task.

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!
- Dara threw one pint of cider over the caravan, asked the nice person to move to the barrel, and put the second pint in the person's overalls. He completed all three instructions in 34.1 seconds, earning first place.
- When asked by Alex whether she recognised the items on the oil drums, Fern asked the question "Did I meet these potatoes before?", thus coining the episode's title. She repeatedly attempted to throw the taxidermied bird over the caravan, before partially covering the pens with the potatoes. She then moved the wooden barrel closer to the pens, and used the potatoes as shovels to transport the pens onto the barrel. Realising that the bird had landed on top of the caravan, she reached up to retrieve it, and successfully threw it all the way over. She completed all three instructions in 13 minutes and 40 seconds, earning last place. The fact that she failed to completely cover the pens did not affect her position.
- John quickly threw the magic lamp over the caravan, then paused to eat some of the cheeseburger, before putting it under the hat. He carried the burger and hat on his head to the wooden barrel, completing all three instructions in 4 minutes and 48 seconds. He was awarded third place, with the fact that he ate some of the cheeseburger not affecting his ranking.
- Munya quickly threw the moon shoes over the caravan, put the Swiss army knife inside of the pot of Vaseline, and used his teeth to transport the Vaseline to the wooden barrel. He completed all three instructions in 2 minutes and 18 seconds, earning second place.
- Sarah attempted to throw the scissors over the caravan, covered the mirror with the chocolate, and then moved both items to the wooden barrel. At the end of the task, she broke off a big chunk of chocolate for herself. Although her time was just 36 seconds, she was placed third in the task because the scissors landed on the caravan's roof.
