Task brief

The task brief is found on a table on the squash court, next to a potted plant. The brief for the task is as follows:

Get to 11 points as fast as possible.

Task notes

  • The contestants, grouped as teams, enter a squash court to find it littered with a collection of objects: a framed photo of the Taskmaster, a waste paper bin, a tray of cupcakes, a small table with a potted plant on it, and enough chairs for all the team members, plus squash racquets and balls for each team member.
  • Alex is stationed on the spectators’ balcony with a monitor, on which the teams' scores (starting at zero) are displayed.
  • In the studio, it is stated that the members of the team who score 11 points fastest in the task will earn two points each, while the losing team will earn no points.
