Task brief

The task brief is found in the mailbox on the lawn outside the Bäst i Test house. The brief for the task is as follows:

Cycle 22 laps around the track without putting your feet down.

Every time you pass the bathtub, you must place a rubber duck in it.

When you pass David, give him a high-five and a new nickname.

Every time you pass the mailbox, you must ring the bell as many times as the number of laps you have cycled.

If you break a rule, you get 100 seconds taken off of your total time.

Slowest bike ride wins.

Your time starts at David's signal.

Task notes

  • A rectangular course with rounded corners has been marked out on the lawn with small orange traffic cones.
  • At the starting line there is a tandem bicycle, which has a basket on the front containing 22 rubber ducks, and a bell on the handlebars.
  • About a quarter of the way around the track, there is a bathtub.
  • David observes the contestants from atop his umpire's chair, which is located at around the halfway point of the track.
  • Although the task is mostly based on the 'Drive 11 laps and obey all the rules' task which first appeared on Taskmaster NZ, it also appears to have taken inspiration from Taskmaster UK's 'Complete the course as slowly as possible' task, with the use of a bicycle instead of a golf cart, and the goal of completing the task the slowest, with deductions for infractions of the rules.
