Task brief

The task brief is presented on the typewriter in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:

Make the key difficult, but not impossible, for David to obtain.

You have 10 minutes.

This unscored task sets the stage for a linked task shown later in the episode, where the contestants must retrieve the same key in order to complete that task.

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

Edvin goes to the shed and gets the bathtub. He puts the key into the bathtub and, with David’s help, moves it down to the dock. He then drops the bathtub into the water, and pushes it away from the shoreline.
Henrik, being much taller than David, holds the key in the air, taunting the much shorter David to try to obtain it. He declares that he has a lot of ideas for where to hide the key. Where Henrik hides the key is not actually shown until later in the show (he has hidden it down the back of his trousers). Given David’s reaction, it seems likely that the key was actually between his buttocks.
Linnéa grabs a yoga ball from the shed. It’s unclear if she gaffer-taped the key to the ball, or if she cut a small slit into the ball, dropped the key inside, and taped the slit back up. She takes the ball down to the water but, instead of heading to the dock, wanders through a section of thorny plants on a small cliff – injuring herself in the process, and nearly sliding off of the cliff – and throws the ball into that section of the water.
Nikki forbids David to follow her, as she says she can’t hide it from him if he can see her. Realising that David will follow her anyway, Nikki runs away from the Bäst i Test house. Where Nikki hides the key is not actually shown until later in the show (it’s simply in her pocket).
Marko cuts a small hole into a football and pushes the key inside of it. He then throws the football onto the roof of the Bäst i Test house, where it rolls down and settles in the gutter.
