Task brief
The task brief is laid on top of a grid of 180 shot glasses on the table in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:
Drink all the vinegar.
Time stops when you shout 'I’ve drunk all the vinegar'.
Fastest wins.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- The shot glasses all contain small amounts of various clear liquids.
- The vinegar is in the 35th glass, if one starts counting from the bottom-left glass, when sitting in the chair.
- There are several clues to help the contestants figure out which glass has the vinegar: a flip clock with the minutes set to 35, on a small bureau next to the door; a neon light display of the number 35 on the fireplace mantel (which has been lit and present on the mantel for the entire series); a copy of Den Danske Salmebog (the hymnal of the Church of Denmark) with a Stormester logo bookmark placed on page 35; and a small book of pH testing strips on the same bureau as the flip clock.
