Fill your pipe with balloons.
You may only fill your pipe with balloons of your chosen colour.
Your tubes must be completely filled.
You may not remove your gloves.
If there are any gaps, you must fix the problem yourself.
You may use my broom to help.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each wearing a pair of gloves covered with thumb tacks.
- Behind them, there are three large parasols, which are being used to prevent helium balloons of many colours from floating up to the stage ceiling.
- Hanging from the ceiling in front of them, there are five transparent tubes attached to a long red box or beam.
- Each of the tubes has a picture of one of the contestants’ faces above it, and each is covered with aluminium foil with eight circular holes cut into it, corresponding to the positions of the balloons inserted into it.
- The tubes are actually long enough to hold 9 balloons, but the final one pokes out of the bottom of the tube.
