The task brief is found beneath an egg, on the steps of the Kongen Befaler house. The brief for the task is as follows:
Roll this egg more than 300 metres, but less than 500 metres, as the crow flies.
Preferably 400 metres as the crow flies.
If the egg cracks, you get no points.
You have 20 minutes.

Task notes
- Also on the steps, there are two small traffic cones.
- The task brief actually uses the phrase ‘i luftlinje’ which translates more directly to ‘in air line’ or ‘in air distance’, which comes into play in at least one contestant’s attempt.
- In the studio, prior to any attempts being shown, Atle rules that if the egg is not rolled between 300 and 500 metres, the contestants will receive no points.
