The brief for the task is as follows:
Don’t say the Taskmaster’s favourite thing.
Alex will say a category.
One at a time, you must shout a thing that falls in that category, within two seconds of the previous person.
If you pause, repeat, make a mistake, or say the Taskmaster’s favourite thing, you are eliminated.
Last player standing wins.
Task notes
- The contestants are stood side-by-side on stage, while Greg’s throne has been moved to face them, and he has a very large gong next to him (presumably sourced from Al Murray’s ‘gong guy’), which he beats when anyone is eliminated.
- There have been a number of other tasks over the years involving listing things belonging to a category, but this one is different enough to be categorised as original here.
