Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Dance in the silent disco.

If the Taskmaster correctly guesses that you are dancing to no music, you are eliminated.

Last person still dancing in the silent disco wins.

A bonus point for best overall dancing will be given.

The contestants on the Taskmaster studio stage. They are in front of a red velvet rope and stanchions and various bright coloured disco lights. Each of them are wearing headphones with the ear pieces decorated to look like disco balls.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each wearing a set of wireless headphones, the cups of which have been decorated to make them look like disco balls.
Behind the contestants, some colourful disco lights have been set up along the back of the stage.
The contestants are penned in on three sides (not the front of the stage) by red velvet rope and stanchions.
Tom Cashman is positioned behind a table at the far left of the stage as the DJ, cueing up the music for each round
In each round, music is played in all but one of the remaining contestants’ headphones, and the contestant who is not hearing any music has to pretend to dance to the same tune as everyone else.
