Task brief

You're about to take part in a silent disco.

You will soon put on your headphones and hear some catchy music.

You will dance your heart out to the song you hear.

But one of you won't hear any music and will have to pretend.

Atle will guess who's pretending.

If he's right, you're out.

If not, we move on to the next round.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side on the right-hand side of the stage, each equipped with a pair of wired headphones.
On the left-hand side of the stage, Olli is standing behind a control desk which has pictures of each of the contestants on the front of it with a backlit musical note under each to indicate which contestants can hear music, and a rotating disco light on top.
In each round, Olli unplugs the cord for one of the contestants’ headphones, and the light beneath their photo turns off.
Olli and the contestants are separated by a couple of screens along the centre of the stage, which prevent Atle from being able to see the display on the front of Olli’s control desk.
As the contestants are eliminated, Olli removes their photos from the front of the desk.
